About

About Me

I’m a New York State licensed clinical psychologist offering individual therapy for adults dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma and relationship challenges. My approach is grounded, collaborative, and insight-oriented, helping clients explore the emotional and relational patterns that shape their lives.

I earned my doctorate in psychology from Pace University and have worked as a supervising staff psychologist in a community mental health clinic. My practice is informed by years of experience in the child welfare system and specialized training in relational and attachment-focused psychotherapy. I bring warmth, curiosity, and practical reflection to our work together.

Specializing in:

Anxiety

Anxiety can be exhausting and isolating — impacting your relationships, your ability to focus, and your overall sense of peace.

In therapy, we work together to understand the roots of your anxiety, including past experiences, and internal narratives and we will develop strategies to manage anxiety in the moment.

Depression

Depression can feel like disconnection — from others, from purpose, and from yourself. It may show up as persistent sadness, lack of motivation, emotional numbness, or a deep sense of shame or worthlessness.

In therapy, we take time to understand how depression operates in your life — emotionally, relationally, and historically. Together, we explore the underlying beliefs, internal conflicts, and relationship dynamics that may be keeping you stuck.

Trauma

Trauma can leave deep emotional imprints that affect how you relate to yourself and others. You may find yourself feeling disconnected, reactive, hypervigilant, or shut down — often tied to experiences that were overwhelming, unsafe, or unresolved.

In trauma therapy, we work gently and collaboratively to create a safe space where difficult emotions and memories can be explored at your pace. Our work is guided by curiosity and compassion, with attention to the mind-body connection and the power of the therapeutic relationship as a healing tool.

Life Transitions

Life transitions can stir up uncertainty, grief, anxiety, and identity shifts. You might be navigating a career change, becoming a parent, ending a relationship, or experiencing a significant loss.

In therapy, we make space to reflect on what’s shifting, what’s being let go of, and what new parts of yourself are emerging.

Relationships

Whether you’re feeling stuck in recurring patterns, navigating conflict, or longing for deeper intimacy, our work can help clarify what’s getting in the way of more satisfying relationships.

Relationship focused therapy is for individuals who want to better understand how they connect, communicate, and experience closeness with others.

Couples Therapy

Relationships can be a source of both connection and pain.

Couples therapy offers a space to slow down and understand the emotional dynamics between partners — especially when communication breaks down, conflict escalates, or intimacy feels out of reach.
